Marcin Bała's lecture will address IP over DWDM (IPoDWDM) systems and coherent solutions. "IP over DWDM and coherent modules are revolutionizing the way we transmit data, offering increased capacity and flexibility. Although the technology has been available for some time, interest in it is currently growing, in the context of reducing energy consumption and searching for the most efficient network solutions," says Marcin Bała.
The conference will cover all 5G transport options, including grey optics, wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) solutions, and TDM-PON (Time Division Multiplexing-Passive Optical Network). The topic of pluggable optics, which operators want to implement in their emerging 5G transport networks, will also be discussed.
