Telecommunications network specialist Salumanus, in partnership with Wi-Fi and switches expert DCN Europe, is organising the 16th edition of the Dni Światła conference. The event will take place on October 17 in Warsaw, Poland, and will gather telcos and data centre experts to discuss the future of networking. Attendees can secure seats at the conference or register their online presence on the conference’s web page.

Now in its 16th year, the 2023 Dni Światła conference will focus on how fibre optic systems can be used to build cost-effective and sustainable telecom infrastructure. Recent breakthroughs in satellite telecommunications and space exploration means the telco industry is bracing for a new era of faster fibre speeds on Earth and in space.

“At this year Dni Światła, we are committed to tackling some of the most pressing issues in the networking community, namely sustainability and increasing data demand,” explained Marcin Bala, CEO of Salumanus and conference organiser. “We teamed up with our partner DCN Europe to deliver comprehensive presentations on all aspects of network management, from optical modules to WiFi systems.”

The conference will bring together network engineers, data centre owners and technical directors to share their advice for building greener and more efficient networks. Attendees can listen to specialists talk about the benefits of xWDM technology, new cloud management solutions, managed Wi-Fi and optical solutions for energy efficiency. The event will also feature a panel discussion and Q&A session, followed by a networking reception.

“For this edition, we will present the new version of our Smart Recode Device and its latest updates,” explained Andrzej Wojnar, director of optical transceivers department  at Salumanus. “We expect the product to support next generation modules and allow for full system mobility.”

The event is suitable for telecom solutions providers, as well as businesses interested in scaling up their offering to keep up with the latest developments in connectivity. Guests will have the chance to discuss their individual communication requirements, as well as test the products in the organisers’ booths.

For this edition, guests can participate in person at the Novotel Centrum in Warsaw, Poland or register for the online streaming.
